Bonifacio Teyo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Fulgencio Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. ManoloFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulgencio Claris was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rodrigo Mendebal kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, ManoloFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Fresco came free, but Elpidio Udalaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, J S Mastropiero FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Michael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Dalmu. J S Mastropiero FC's Fabian Savion got his second yellow card of the match in the 27th minute. The referee ordered Fabian Savion off the ground. Emilio Txordon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Michael having to interfere. Nemesio Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in J S Mastropiero FC's zone, Emilio Txordon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Michael came out of the goal and Emilio Txordon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. J S Mastropiero FC's Nemesio Michael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Txordon in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Txordon in the 70th minute of play forced J S Mastropiero FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Michael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Mendebal during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emilio Txordon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nemesio Michael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the J S Mastropiero FC defense, Melchor Francis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nemesio Michael. The J S Mastropiero FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nemesio Michael should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ManoloFC had won after a very even match.
