Spectators: 6674 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emilio Txordon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Pio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, ManoloFC's Clodoveo Inge got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After having played for 5 minutes, Jose Milio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yahapé AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Milio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Emilio Txordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute of the match, Jose Milio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elpidio Udalaitz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Emanuel Pio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Francis, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes, Emilio Txordon made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Yahapé AFC's Emanuel Pio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Yahapé AFC defense, Emilio Txordon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Pio. The Yahapé AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Pio should have stopped the shot. Emilio Txordon hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes ManoloFC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Cidro. Melchor Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Pio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Txordon in the 42nd minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melchor Francis to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, ManoloFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Dalmu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 52 minutes, Eulalio Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yahapé AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Castulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Pedro Dalmu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melchor Francis took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emanuel Pio. Emanuel Pio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Yahapé AFC's Albino Rudolfo got a free kick in the 58th minute. Elpidio Udalaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Milio in the 70th minute of play. Emanuel Pio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melchor Francis's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Emilio Txordon came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emanuel Pio could save by the left post. 78 minutes into the game, Vicente Ostadar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Elpidio Udalaitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Yahapé AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Melchor Francis 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-4. Emilio Txordon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Yahapé AFC booed when ManoloFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Francis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ManoloFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ManoloFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
