If Fulgencio Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Fulgencio Claris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Pio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Jose Milio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of J S Mastropiero FC's Nemesio Michael. Nemesio Michael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the match, Yahapé AFC's goalkeeper Emanuel Pio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Fresco. Nemesio Michael came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Yahapé AFC's Jose Milio. But to his dismay, Jose Milio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 28th minute, Jose Milio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nemesio Michael was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Vicente Ostadar came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Yahapé AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Ostadar couldn't finish the play. Rolando Raymon kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Dario Fresco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Pio. Yahapé AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dario Fresco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Nemesio Michael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Milio, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. When Fabian Savion fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored J S Mastropiero FC's protests and gave Fabian Savion a yellow card for diving instead. After 45 played minutes J S Mastropiero FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Savion. 46 minutes into the match, J S Mastropiero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Ostadar came free, but Nemesio Michael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The J S Mastropiero FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yahapé AFC were winning 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Ostadar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute of the match, Rolando Raymon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nemesio Michael saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jose Milio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Nemesio Michael made a huge save. After 66 played minutes Yahapé AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Lluciano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulgencio Claris in the 68th minute of play forced Yahapé AFC's goalkeeper Emanuel Pio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Ostadar in the 72nd minute of play forced J S Mastropiero FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Michael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Milio got free with Nemesio Michael in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Yahapé AFC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Marcelo Noe hit a great ball. Dario Fresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Pio having to interfere. Vicente Ostadar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nemesio Michael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. The supporters of Yahapé AFC booed when J S Mastropiero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Pancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Savion hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Eulalio Castulo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and J S Mastropiero FC's Nemesio Michael didn't even have to move. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind J S Mastropiero FC's goalkeeper Nemesio Michael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 95 minutes, Anier Ishmael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the J S Mastropiero FC and the Yahapé AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, J S Mastropiero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Ishmael to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded Yahapé AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than J S Mastropiero FC.
