The referee ignored ManoloFC's protests and gave Clodoveo Inge a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes ManoloFC got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Inge. Elpidio Udalaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anastasio Froila in the 13th minute of play. After a rather tough play, C.A.INDEPENDIENTE's Cristian Demesio got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Emilio Txordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ManoloFC booed when C.A.INDEPENDIENTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Froila didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anastasio Froila in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Udalaitz saved ManoloFC from getting behind. In the 24thth minute of the game Anastasio Froila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ManoloFC's Elpidio Udalaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melchor Francis kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Anastasio Froila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute Anastasio Froila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Udalaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The C.A.INDEPENDIENTE fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when C.A.INDEPENDIENTE's Anastasio Froila looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joaquin Ipar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Udalaitz having to interfere. Froilan Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Francis in the 36th minute of play. Pedro Dalmu struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Froilan Porfiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ManoloFC. Emilio Txordon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Froilan Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 minutes, Cristian Demesio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.INDEPENDIENTE and the ManoloFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 40 played minutes C.A.INDEPENDIENTE got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Demesio. Joaquin Ipar's late challenge caught a ManoloFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquin Ipar helped the player get up and apologised. Emilio Txordon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Froilan Porfiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ManoloFC's Elpidio Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Froila in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Melchor Francis made the kick off in the second half. If Erubiel Ariando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Elpidio Udalaitz managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when C.A.INDEPENDIENTE's Anastasio Froila fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 60th play minute Anastasio Froila came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elpidio Udalaitz. 1-2. Anastasio Froila scored 1-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Udalaitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ManoloFC's Elpidio Udalaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save ManoloFC from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, ManoloFC's Emanuel Cidro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emanuel Cidro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ManoloFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emanuel Cidro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of ManoloFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A.INDEPENDIENTE:s goal. Anastasio Froila shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Anastasio Froila came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the C.A.INDEPENDIENTE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasio Froila couldn't finish the play. The supporters of C.A.INDEPENDIENTE booed when ManoloFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Mendebal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ciriaco Baraquiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.INDEPENDIENTE's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciriaco Baraquiel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Udalaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over C.A.INDEPENDIENTE could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ManoloFC throughout the match.
