Elias Jago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Artal came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rogelio Nayely could save by the left post. Elias Jago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Albano Olivar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Adolfo Valentine fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albariño's protests and gave Adolfo Valentine a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Albariño getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Adolfo Valentine hit a great ball. After 20 played minutes, Atletico Tongante's Emanuel Montel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Albano Olivar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atletico Tongante reached it. Bernardino Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Elias Kismi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Elias Jago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Elias Jago made a precise shot to the right of Albano Olivar. Albariño's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 31 minutes into the match, Albariño's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Cordarrell came free, but Albano Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Hodei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Elias Jago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albano Olivar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Jago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 47 minutes, Damian Artal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albariño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Artal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Elias Jago sped through Albariño's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Albano Olivar. Bernardino Hodei was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Atletico Tongante's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Albano Olivar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardino Hodei in the 65th minute. Rogelio Nayely made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Gervaso in the 67th minute of play. Rogelio Nayely showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Artal in the 69th minute of the match. Damian Artal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Artal in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Nayely prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 76th minute, Bernardino Hodei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Melquiades Gervaso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Gervaso in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Nayely prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albariño's Albano Olivar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Jago in the 85th minute of play. Albano Olivar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Jago in the 86th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Albariño's goalkeeper Albano Olivar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardino Hodei. In the 95th minute Elias Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Olivar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Albariño's Damian Artal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogelio Nayely made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Albariño supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atletico Tongante's performance. The match ended with a win for Atletico Tongante.
