After a defensive mix-up in Loventué's zone, Luisito Vachon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Campos Luis came out of the goal and Luisito Vachon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Campos Luis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luisito Vachon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. Lagunillas were furious when Geronimo Clementi was red carded, 48 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 52nd minute there was a penalty for Loventué. Rafael Mendiko stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nicolas Oihenarte. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Gregory to strike the kick off in the second half. After 102 played minutes, Loventué's Amadeo Evis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicolas Oihenarte came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Loventué reached it.
