After a rather tough play, El Santo Arg's Maurinho Paraibano got a free kick in the 31st minute. Paulo Pasqual didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leon Diaz went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tales Favoretto in the 42nd minute of play forced CaChaLoTe's goalkeeper Paulo Pasqual to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Santo Arg fully deserved thier win.
