Clodoveo Johans succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. When Bacardi AFC's Clodoveo Johans in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After having played for 29 minutes, Clodoveo Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bacardi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Johans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cecilio Joey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rahué's Vicente Oskarbi got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute Clodoveo Johans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Chale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Rahué players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bacardi AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clodoveo Johans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Leo Bernard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Vicente Oskarbi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnulfo Cilio was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Bacardi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Oskarbi came free, but Arnulfo Cilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Rahué booed when Bacardi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Cristofor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Leo Bernard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnulfo Cilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Joey in the 72nd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Rahué's goalkeeper Herminio Chale had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Abascal. Arnulfo Cilio came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Rahué's Cecilio Joey. But to his dismay, Cecilio Joey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 89 minutes into the game, Leo Bernard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bacardi AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rahué the free kick. After 89 played minutes Bacardi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Bernard. Clodoveo Johans struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Herminio Chale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacardi AFC. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bacardi AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
