With an all-out effort, Sumalao's Anier Macias threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pastor Lehen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sumalao's Pastor Lehen got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Everardo Diegotxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Jacinto Gilesindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sir Uja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Gilesindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Jacinto Gilesindo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Genaro Abalos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximo Estevon hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Hermengildo Honrio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Genaro Abalos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 39 minutes, Amadeo Garikoitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sumalao and the Sir Uja FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Amadeo Garikoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Jacinto Gilesindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everardo Diegotxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sumalao getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Arsenio Argider hit a great ball. Genaro Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Diegotxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pastor Lehen to make the kick off. Genaro Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Diegotxe in the 58th minute of the match. Anier Macias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pastor Lehen went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Carlos Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Pasqual's late challenge caught a Sir Uja FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aldo Pasqual helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, Aldo Pasqual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anier Macias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Lehen, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Everardo Diegotxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Genaro Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Sumalao's Genaro Abalos got control of the ball when Jacinto Gilesindo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Genaro Abalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Diegotxe's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Genaro Abalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacinto Gilesindo in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
