TEMPERLEY A.C.T.'s Filomeno Santana got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Tumbaya FC's goalkeeper Fermin Cedro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filomeno Santana. Gavino Moise blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fermin Cedro having to make a save. If Teofilo Marz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Teofilo Marz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tumbaya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Marz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Gavino Moise managed to get in a good position for a shot. TEMPERLEY A.C.T.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gavino Moise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Cedro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gavino Moise was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Lucio Pasqual was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TEMPERLEY A.C.T.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tumbaya FC the free kick. Gavino Moise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gavino Moise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Cedro having to interfere. Tumbaya FC's Fermin Cedro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Santana in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fermin Cedro was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. After 68 played minutes Tumbaya FC got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Aires. In the 71st minute Gavino Moise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Cedro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Filomeno Santana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Filomeno Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. TEMPERLEY A.C.T.'s Gavino Moise got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 played minutes TEMPERLEY A.C.T. got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Rosalio. After a rather tough play, Tumbaya FC's Arsenio Aires got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Lucio Pasqual was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. In the 90th match minute, TEMPERLEY A.C.T. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Pasqual to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Tumbaya FC's Delmar Boniel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
