The audience was convinced that Everardo Mingo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinicio Chinto was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Isidoro Abeijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Astor Oriche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Isidoro Abeijon made a precise shot to the right of Astor Oriche. Viamonte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Viamonte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maimará AFC the free kick. Apolo Ostots kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Isidoro Abeijon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viamonte's Astor Oriche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Serafino Canor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maimará AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafino Canor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Oriche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Astor Oriche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Abeijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Lon's late challenge caught a Maimará AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofilo Lon helped the player get up and apologised.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafino Canor to make the kick off. When Isidoro Abeijon came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Maimará AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Abeijon couldn't finish the play. Serafino Canor was extremely unlucky when he, in the 65th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 66th minute, Teofilo Lon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Serafino Canor came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Maimará AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafino Canor couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Viamonte's Astor Oriche got control of the ball when Isidoro Abeijon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Serafino Canor's late challenge caught a Viamonte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafino Canor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 74th match minute, Maimará AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Canor to maneuver through the defense. During the 80th minute of the match Teofilo Lon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Teofilo Lon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Teofilo Lon hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match.
