Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carmelo George in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramon Manuelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristian Torres during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Cristian Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Santiago del Estero F.C's Iker Steven tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Adan Otoniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Manuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo George in the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Santiago del Estero F.C's Eliseo Gergori got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes Santiago del Estero F.C got a freekick which was hit by Adan Otoniel. Aldo Nazario charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Nazario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, fumanchu team FC's Mariano Niguel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ramon Manuelo. If Adan Otoniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Manuelo made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Reynaldo Orkatz sent off a good shot on target. fumanchu team FC's Cristian Torres got his second yellow card of the match in the 36th minute. The referee ordered Cristian Torres off the ground. Cristian Torres hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Adan Otoniel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sadiq Bäxtiyarov. fumanchu team FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adan Otoniel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Severino Astrada struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ramon Manuelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for fumanchu team FC. After a defensive mix-up in Santiago del Estero F.C's zone, Carmelo George stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Manuelo came out of the goal and Carmelo George tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ramon Manuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Orkatz in the 56th minute of play. Mariano Canor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Manuelo having to interfere. Reynaldo Orkatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramon Manuelo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Astrada's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Ruperto Ostadar charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Ostadar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iker Steven placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Reynaldo Orkatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reynaldo Orkatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Manuelo having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Eliseo Gergori was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santiago del Estero F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave fumanchu team FC the free kick. Eliseo Gergori hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Orkatz in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Manuelo saved Santiago del Estero F.C from getting behind. After having played for 81 minutes, Severino Astrada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. fumanchu team FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severino Astrada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83 played minutes fumanchu team FC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo George. Santiago del Estero F.C's Ramon Manuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Orkatz in the 85th minute of play. When Reynaldo Orkatz came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the fumanchu team FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Orkatz couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Santiago del Estero F.C's goalkeeper Ramon Manuelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Reynaldo Orkatz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the fumanchu team FC fans jumped to their feet.
