In the 20th minute, Celso Tome left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.Colon De Santa Fe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 24th minute Celso Tome shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Estebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Gilesindo in the 29th minute of play forced C.A.Colon De Santa Fe's goalkeeper Felipe Cordeal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Cordeal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Patxi's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Pedro Patxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Cordeal having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Arsenio Gilesindo put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Felipe Cordeal. 76 minutes into the match, Arsenio Gilesindo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Cordeal. C.A.Colon De Santa Fe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arsenio Gilesindo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. If Arsenio Gilesindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
