Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximiliano Estebe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Elvio Beti who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Maximiliano Estebe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hugo Hunfredo charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Elvio Beti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Niupi's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Beti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Estebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Patxi in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Gurutz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Arsenio Gilesindo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Estevez's late challenge caught a Veni que te descaco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iker Estevez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th match minute, Niupi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Estevez to maneuver through the defense. Elvio Beti's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximiliano Estebe firmly grabbed it by the left post. After the first half Veni que te descaco were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Patxi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Elvio Beti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Estebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Elvio Beti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Maximiliano Estebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elvio Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 played minutes Niupi got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Ponce. Maximiliano Estebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Beat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Veni que te descaco's Marcelo Gurutz threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedro Patxi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 78 minutes into the match, Arsenio Gilesindo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Gurutz. Niupi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arsenio Gilesindo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 89 minutes into the game, Rolando Ponce was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Niupi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veni que te descaco the free kick. In the 89th match minute, Niupi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Ponce to maneuver through the defense. 2-2 became the score in the 94th minute when Elvio Beti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
