In the 11th minute, Celso Tome got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, C.A.Colon De Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Beat came free, but Felipe Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Niupi got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Ponce. In the 28th minute Angelo Jenaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gurutz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Jenaro struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Marcelo Gurutz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Colon De Santa Fe. Elvio Beti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Felipe Cordeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Zeledon Mede hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Gurutz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when C.A.Colon De Santa Fe's Angelo Jenaro shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celso Tome to strike the kick off in the second half. When Celso Tome came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the C.A.Colon De Santa Fe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Tome couldn't finish the play. If Evaristo Beat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes, Nestor Bento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.A.Colon De Santa Fe and the Niupi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nestor Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Evaristo Beat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Cordeal having to interfere. Felipe Cordeal came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Niupi's Evaristo Beat. But to his dismay, Evaristo Beat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A collision led to C.A.Colon De Santa Fe getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Zeledon Mede hit a great ball. Niupi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastian Polo in the 74th minute. Ciro Navarro made a great header on Niupi's corner, it was just that C.A.Colon De Santa Fe's Felipe Cordeal managed to reach the ball for a save. 78 minutes into the match, C.A.Colon De Santa Fe's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Beat came free, but Felipe Cordeal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Elvio Beti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Tome in the 87th minute of play forced Niupi's goalkeeper Marcelo Gurutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Gurutz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Tome, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Felipe Cordeal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Beat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Cordeal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Beat in the 92nd minute of play. Evaristo Beat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Cordeal having to interfere. Nestor Bento got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, C.A.Colon De Santa Fe's Nestor Bento got a free kick in the 96th minute. Elvio Beti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Felipe Cordeal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 99th match minute, C.A.Colon De Santa Fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Luken to maneuver through the defense. In the 102nd minute Niupi were awarded a corner. Sebastian Polo went to the cornerflag to take it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
