Leopoldo Giro got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Leopoldo Giro kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Cesar Bizi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Backmas C.B.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Bizi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Beila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 35th play minutes Michael Sjöberg shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Melquiades Beila and just under the crossbar into goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michael Sjöberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Sjöberg got free with Melquiades Beila in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melquiades Beila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 98 minutes into the game, Armando Nuno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
