Spectators: 7168 (Terracing: 5378, Seating: 1648, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Constantino Pedroso kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Damian Mantzio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tasma FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After having played for 5 minutes, Damian Mantzio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tasma FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Mantzio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvio Elizardo hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Independencia! Maximiliano Ourente went to the wrong direction when Cristian Geofredo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 11th minute, Everardo Cordarrol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Tasma FC's Everardo Cordarrol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximiliano Ourente narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maximiliano Ourente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Mantzio in the 21st minute of the match. When Independencia's Constantino Pedroso in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tasma FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fausto Pietro might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicasio Jaume. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fausto Pietro ran back to his position shaking his head. Maximiliano Ourente made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Ovidio Quinten sent off a good shot on target. After 40 minutes, Carlos Quin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independencia and the Tasma FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Cristian Geofredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tasma FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Geofredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Ourente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Pietro charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fausto Pietro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Independencia got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Pietro. Damian Mantzio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximiliano Ourente came out and tried to block the shot, but Damian Mantzio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute Damian Mantzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Ourente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Mantzio to strike the kick off in the second half. Ovidio Quinten kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The Tasma FC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Tasma FC's Damian Mantzio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Independencia's Maximiliano Ourente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Mantzio in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tasma FC's zone, Erubiel Cordaryal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Jaume came out of the goal and Erubiel Cordaryal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maximiliano Ourente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Cordarrol in the 70th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Independencia's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Mantzio came free, but Maximiliano Ourente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Cordarrol in the 78th minute of play forced Independencia's goalkeeper Maximiliano Ourente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Tasma FC's Ovidio Quinten got a free kick in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tasma FC's zone, Constantino Pedroso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicasio Jaume came out of the goal and Constantino Pedroso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicasio Jaume made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Fausto Pietro sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Tasma FC booed when Independencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 96th minute of the match Fausto Pietro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fausto Pietro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Independencia getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Fausto Pietro hit a great ball. After 98 played minutes, Tasma FC's Cristian Geofredo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maximiliano Ourente came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tasma FC reached it. Many of Independencia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Independencia may have spent more time on the ball, but Tasma FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
