The ball had pretty good speed, but Eugenio Celino firmly grabbed it by the left post. Eugenio Celino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliāns Álvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Juliāns Álvarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Celino having to make a save. Teofilo Gaitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abel Lehior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Nacho Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute of the match Juan Caetano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nacho Fernandez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Humberto Romo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Eugenio Celino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Romo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 24th playminute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Romo got free with Eugenio Celino in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Teofilo Gaitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Amigos de Pulga's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Gaitano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nacho Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Atlético Ginkgo Biloba's Nacho Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Lehior in the 36th minute of play. Eugenio Celino came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Ginkgo Biloba's Humberto Romo. But to his dismay, Humberto Romo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Ginkgo Biloba's goalkeeper Nacho Fernandez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Victor Botello fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Gaitano was the one to do the kick off. If Abel Lehior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Amigos de Pulga's Eugenio Celino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Romo in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Juliāns Álvarez made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Celino. Los Amigos de Pulga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Eugenio Celino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Romo in the 60th minute of the match. Juliāns Álvarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Celino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Juliāns Álvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Amigos de Pulga's Eugenio Celino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Humberto Romo sped through Los Amigos de Pulga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eugenio Celino. If Humberto Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atlético Ginkgo Biloba's Victor Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teofilo Gaitano kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Atlético Ginkgo Biloba got a freekick which was hit by Andres Jenaro. In the 91st minute Humberto Romo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Celino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Celino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Romo in the 95th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Amigos de Pulga's zone, Juliāns Álvarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Celino came out of the goal and Juliāns Álvarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atlético Ginkgo Biloba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
