After having played for 44 minutes, Victor Favila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Actuario FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Favila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. German Fresco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guaberto Montrelle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saul Giraldo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Fabio Sansone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carcarañá FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Sansone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Brais breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 55th minute Tiburcio Beltxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guaberto Montrelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Carcarañá FC's zone, German Fresco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Montrelle came out of the goal and German Fresco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. German Fresco took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guaberto Montrelle. Guaberto Montrelle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. German Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Guaberto Montrelle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Actuario FC were the better team. Actuario FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
