Gerardo Brais took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Aimar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prudencio Aires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Fresco in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Actuario FC's Victor Favila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prudencio Aires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 22nd match minute, Actuario FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Bazkoare to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Challacó's goalkeeper Prudencio Aires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Favila. After having played for 26 minutes, Victor Favila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Actuario FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Favila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor Favila made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 29thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Prudencio Aires would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. German Fresco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Aires having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Challacó's zone, Victor Favila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Aires came out of the goal and Victor Favila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If German Fresco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Urre hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Challacó's zone, German Fresco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prudencio Aires came out of the goal and German Fresco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when German Fresco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armando Osorio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Gerardo Brais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Aimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the game, German Fresco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Prudencio Aires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 63rd minute, German Fresco had to leave the field with a concussion. After 63 minutes, Octavio Balasi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Challacó and the Actuario FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Challacó got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Balasi. 67 minutes into the game, Actuario FC's Tiburcio Beltxe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prudencio Aires made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When Tiburcio Beltxe came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Actuario FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiburcio Beltxe couldn't finish the play. Prudencio Aires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Favila in the 77th minute of play forced Challacó's goalkeeper Prudencio Aires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marcos Aimar came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Challacó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Aimar couldn't finish the play. Tiburcio Beltxe kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Gerardo Brais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Aimar in the 90th minute of the match. Victor Favila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Federico Dubardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Actuario FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
