The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ariel Karlo during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Formosa FC's Ariel Karlo got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Rozarius in the 8th minute of play forced Salmoneros's goalkeeper Elpidio Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Cristos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Elpidio Elia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elpidio Elia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Patxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Elpidio Daunte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Iratzeder in the 19th minute of the match. Luciano Oihenarte hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Elpidio Elia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Cristos in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Isaac Rozarius fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Elpidio Daunte, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Rozarius in the 33rd minute of play forced Salmoneros's goalkeeper Elpidio Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Isaac Rozarius managed to get in a good position for a shot. Formosa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Rozarius was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Daunte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximiliano Iratzeder scored 2-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Daunte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Salmoneros's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonides Baudelio was slow to take the kick. During this time Formosa FC's players had a chance to rest. Formosa FC's Leonides Baudelio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Elpidio Daunte in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Freddy Cristos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elpidio Elia came out and tried to block the shot, but Freddy Cristos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Isaac Rozarius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Daunte was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Freddy Cristos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elpidio Elia. That made the score 2-2 in the 63 minute of play. Godfredo Gipuzkoa hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Elpidio Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Rozarius in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Formosa FC booed when Salmoneros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Txindoki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Rozarius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Daunte having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Conrado Txindoki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conrado Txindoki hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Elpidio Daunte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Gipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the game, Zacarias Montrell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salmoneros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formosa FC the free kick. In the 82nd match minute, Salmoneros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Montrell to maneuver through the defense. If Maximiliano Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Isaac Rozarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Iratzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute.
