After 54 played minutes LOS GUERREROS got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Kinsen. After a defensive mix-up in LOS GUERREROS's zone, Marcial Confesor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Maura came out of the goal and Marcial Confesor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to LOS GUERREROS getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Edelmiro Cugat hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Chago got free with Humberto Hanni in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 63rd minute Alfonso Estavan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Hanni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to LOS GUERREROS getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Edelmiro Cugat hit a great ball. Benito Bento struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Virgilio Maura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luján. After 72 played minutes LOS GUERREROS got a freekick which was hit by Dario Chago. In the 74th minute Benito Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Estavan came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Humberto Hanni could save by the left post. LOS GUERREROS's Alfonso Estavan got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Alvaro Hermon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Alvaro Hermon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luján's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Hermon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute of the match Marcial Confesor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Virgilio Maura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Estavan in the 93rd minute of play forced Luján's goalkeeper Humberto Hanni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
