Spectators: 6652 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erubiel Gil took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Evelio Hulberto came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Errecaborda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Hulberto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Gil in the 8th minute of play forced Cieneguita's goalkeeper Pastor Raymond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Cieneguita defense, Erubiel Gil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pastor Raymond. The Cieneguita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pastor Raymond should have stopped the shot. Erubiel Gil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cieneguita's Pastor Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Hulberto in the 24th minute of play. Arnulfo Chumo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cieneguita fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Errecaborda. Benigno Prejun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pastor Raymond. 0-2. When Erubiel Gil came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Errecaborda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erubiel Gil couldn't finish the play. After the first half Errecaborda were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnulfo Chumo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Candido Matei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Toribio having to interfere. Candido Matei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Silvio Toribio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pastor Raymond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Cieneguita's Arnulfo Chumo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvio Toribio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. With a little luck, Cieneguita's Pastor Raymond got control of the ball when Erubiel Salvino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute Errecaborda were awarded a corner. Benigno Prejun went to the cornerflag to take it. Matias Ekaitz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a little luck, Cieneguita's Pastor Raymond got control of the ball when Evelio Hulberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Evelio Hulberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Raymond having to interfere. Candido Matei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvio Toribio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Silvio Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Chumo in the 94th minute of play. Pastor Raymond made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Evelio Hulberto sent off a good shot on target.
