Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arnulfo Chumo kicked off to start the match. Flavio Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Chumo in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Cieneguita's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jorge Vimaro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 8 played minutes, Cieneguita's Bartolo Ieltxu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flavio Pelayo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cieneguita reached it. A hard shot 12 in the game by Jorge Vimaro from a close distance when the talented Pastor Raymond managed to make a qualified save. Cieneguita's players were relieved. 1-0 became the score in the 13th minute when Ermegildo Jerano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Municipal's zone, Candido Matei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavio Pelayo came out of the goal and Candido Matei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Jerano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Raymond having to interfere. Flavio Pelayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Candido Matei's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Danilo Rami hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute of the game, Amado Indalecio landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Rami during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Sportivo Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Rami to maneuver through the defense. Pastor Raymond made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Vimaro in the 30th minute. In the 35th minute, Froilan Herensuge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Leopoldo Piearres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Candido Matei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Flavio Pelayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Candido Matei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 59th minute, Jorge Vimaro made a precise shot to the right of Pastor Raymond. Cieneguita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Pastor Raymond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ermegildo Jerano's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Danilo Rami struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Pastor Raymond didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Municipal. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Municipal's Danilo Rami got a free kick in the 70th minute. With a little luck, Sportivo Municipal's Flavio Pelayo got control of the ball when Candido Matei tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 80th minute, Danilo Rami ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pastor Raymond was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ermegildo Jerano took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pastor Raymond. Pastor Raymond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Cieneguita's zone, Ermegildo Jerano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Raymond came out of the goal and Ermegildo Jerano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pastor Raymond stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Vimaro's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Sportivo Municipal had played much better football throughout.
