A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Osvaldo Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Hustaz in the 15th minute of play. Estudiantes de Hernando's Osvaldo Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Hustaz in the 20th minute of play. Osvaldo Bernaldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paolo Isauro in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Estudiantes de Hernando's Osvaldo Bernaldo got control of the ball when Paolo Isauro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paolo Isauro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Bernaldo made a huge save. Melquiades Aresti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Harri, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Felipe Hustaz made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Deportivo Kamiare's goalkeeper Melquiades Aresti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Oskarbi. After 56 played minutes, Estudiantes de Hernando's Ignacio Eyague shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melquiades Aresti came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estudiantes de Hernando reached it. Damian Harri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Oskarbi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Aresti having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Damian Harri rounded Deportivo Kamiare's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Estudiantes de Hernando's Pedro Oskarbi got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Deportivo Kamiare's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Damian Harri fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Kamiare's Delmar Balesio got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Damian Harri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Aresti having to interfere. Pedro Oskarbi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Melquiades Aresti made a huge save. 81 minutes into the game, Felipe Hustaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Osvaldo Bernaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 85 minutes, Paolo Isauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Kamiare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Isauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Estudiantes de Hernando's Guido Valentine tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Deportivo Kamiare's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Harri came free, but Melquiades Aresti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melquiades Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Harri in the 96th minute of play. The Estudiantes de Hernando players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Deportivo Kamiare from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
