The referee ignored Anfilions's protests and gave Silverio Caetano a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Anfilions got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Caetano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Hustaz in the 40th minute of play forced Anfilions's goalkeeper Saturnino Mark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Guerau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Melquiades Aresti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquiles Guerau made a kick off. Anfilions's Francisco Gizon got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Gizon in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Melquiades Aresti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Guerau couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
