When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Raimundo Ricart sped through Fantasmas del Caribe's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Teodosi Tuleshkov. In the 32nd minute, Baldomiro Goyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mirasol F.C's zone, Cristo Columbo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Ranolfo came out of the goal and Cristo Columbo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Goyo in the 41st minute of play forced Mirasol F.C's goalkeeper Amancio Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Baldomiro Goyo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fantasmas del Caribe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Amancio Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomiro Goyo in the 46th minute of the match. Cristo Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Ranolfo having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomiro Goyo to strike the kick off in the second half. Amancio Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Goyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. If Prudencio Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 56 minutes, Cristo Columbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fantasmas del Caribe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Columbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mirasol F.C's Amancio Ranolfo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Mirasol F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Fantasmas del Caribe's Cristo Columbo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Amancio Ranolfo. Amancio Ranolfo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Ceferino Ostots hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the match, Mirasol F.C's Raimundo Ricart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodosi Tuleshkov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Mirasol F.C's Amancio Ranolfo got control of the ball when Cristo Columbo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Amado Gonchan kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Raimundo Ricart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mirasol F.C booed when Fantasmas del Caribe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Gitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prudencio Pueblo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Ramiro Nalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Prudencio Pueblo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mirasol F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Fantasmas del Caribe's performance. The match ended with a win for Fantasmas del Caribe.
