Saturnino Mark was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francisco Gizon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 27th playminute. Faustino Louis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saturnino Mark having to make a save. Francisco Gizon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Osvaldo Bernaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. If Aquiles Guerau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Harri was the one to do the kick off. Faustino Louis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Anfilions's goalkeeper Saturnino Mark, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anfilions's Saturnino Mark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Harri in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Harri in the 62nd minute of play forced Anfilions's goalkeeper Saturnino Mark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anfilions's Saturnino Mark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Anfilions from getting a goal against them. If Aquiles Guerau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guido Valentine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saturnino Mark having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Pedro Oskarbi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de Hernando's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Oskarbi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Mark breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
