Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cortaderas's Jose Beila started the match with a crisp pass. Melchor Elazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Lazcano having to make a save. Gabriel Oliverios hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Bernaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jairo Lazcano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Cortaderas's goalkeeper Jairo Lazcano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bonifacio Bernaldo. Niceto Efraim charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niceto Efraim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cortaderas getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Niceto Efraim hit a great ball. After having played for 25 minutes, Bonifacio Bernaldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Bernaldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jairo Lazcano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bonifacio Bernaldo in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Feliu in the 35th minute of play forced Fenix's goalkeeper Romeo Arce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dalmacio Peru kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Teofilo Oroitz, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ambrosio Urritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Ambrosio Urritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Urritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cortaderas's Jairo Lazcano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Cortaderas from getting a goal against them. Bonifacio Bernaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bonifacio Bernaldo to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Efraim got free with Romeo Arce in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leo Txindoki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jairo Lazcano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Cortaderas's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Elazar came free, but Jairo Lazcano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Ambrosio Urritz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jairo Lazcano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Bernaldo in the 72nd minute of play. When Fenix's Ambrosio Urritz in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cortaderas's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Elazar in the 80th minute of play forced Cortaderas's goalkeeper Jairo Lazcano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Fenix manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Cortaderas to win.
