Spectators: 6826 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1682, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Faustino Bingen started the match with the kick off. Roman Peter might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jairo Faro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Peter ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the game, Albigasta's Faustino Bingen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Faro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Marlborough FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Elivareo came free, but Jairo Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Vasco came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sixto Rencio could save by the left post. Jairo Faro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Peter, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jairo Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustino Bingen in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Roman Peter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Faro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 played minutes Marlborough FC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Salvadore. Albigasta's Jonas Calixto got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Faustino Bingen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38thth minute of the game Roman Peter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marlborough FC's Jairo Faro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jairo Faro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Peter in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Albigasta's Sixto Rencio got control of the ball when Filiberto Hanni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eustaquio Elivareo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Joachim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albigasta's Faustino Bingen got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute Benigno Joachim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Rencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marlborough FC's Jairo Faro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Marlborough FC from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute, Faustino Bingen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Albigasta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sixto Rencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Joachim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Rencio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Cedro went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 73 played minutes Albigasta got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Calixto. After having played for 74 minutes, Nemesio Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marlborough FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Jurdan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Albigasta's Jonas Calixto got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Peter in the 78th minute of play forced Marlborough FC's goalkeeper Jairo Faro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Marlborough FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Peter came free, but Jairo Faro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Calixto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jairo Faro. Marlborough FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roman Peter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute Benigno Joachim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Rencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Marlborough FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Albigasta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
