Spectators: 6576 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Romeo Savion took the kick off in the first half of the match. David Herensuge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Rik, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tortugas FC's zone, Romeo Savion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Segundo Lucero came out of the goal and Romeo Savion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Jaime Ferran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tortugas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Basureros de Quilmes Jr. the free kick. A collision led to Tortugas FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jaime Ferran hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Romeo Savion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Basureros de Quilmes Jr. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Basureros de Quilmes Jr. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Wilfredo Lauaxeta hit a great ball. Segundo Lucero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Savion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Segundo Lucero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Savion went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jaime Ferran was shown his second yellow card after 27 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Basureros de Quilmes Jr. booed when Tortugas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Ferran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Savion's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Segundo Lucero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Aristides Milian scored 1-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Herensuge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Rik got free with David Herensuge in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anier Socorro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half Basureros de Quilmes Jr. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aristides Milian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Basureros de Quilmes Jr.'s Romeo Savion got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Tortugas FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Saul Rik hit a great ball. Aristides Milian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes, Anier Socorro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Basureros de Quilmes Jr. and the Tortugas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. David Herensuge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Esdras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romeo Savion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Tortugas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Savion came free, but Segundo Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Basureros de Quilmes Jr. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tortugas FC.
