Amadeo Iaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Inocente having to interfere. Justino Christobal kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Gonzalo Macario struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Benjamin Inocente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIO LIMAY. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonzalo Macario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, RIO LIMAY's Roman Ugutz got a free kick in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in alianza's zone, Apolo Arlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Inocente came out of the goal and Apolo Arlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonzalo Macario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramon Froylan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Jaime Opilano tried in the game's 73rd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Benjamin Inocente. An annoying self made goal, 1-2. Lucio Miro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Garci, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gonzalo Macario succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 85th playminute. After 90 played minutes RIO LIMAY got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Froylan. The alianza fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. RIO LIMAY were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
