Laureano Darien didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Independiente's Ceferino Larpe shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Jimeno Leobardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Tabby having to interfere. Pituil's supporters rose to their feet, but Felipe Cebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Tabby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ceferino Larpe might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laureano Darien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ceferino Larpe ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ceferino Larpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laureano Darien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Laureano Darien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Larpe in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Independiente players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
