Constantino Isadore's late challenge caught a Cucullú's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Isadore helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cucullú booed when Arequito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Isadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Arequito FC's Dionisio Txilar got a free kick in the 24th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Esteve Pasqual managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cucullú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Pasqual was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Eufrasio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Herena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Arequito FC booed when Cucullú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Nofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Arequito FC defense, Ruperto Raymon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Belmiro. The Arequito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Belmiro should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Silvestre Mincho could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Modesto Eufrasio however easily saved by the left post. Modesto Eufrasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Herena in the 47th minute of play.

Eleuterio Jenaro kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Virgilio Herena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Pasqual sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silvestre Mincho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Eufrasio having to interfere. Emanuel Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Pasqual in the 84th minute of the match. After 89 played minutes, Arequito FC's Octavio Eneto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Modesto Eufrasio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arequito FC reached it. 92 minutes into the match, Arequito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Pancho came free, but Emanuel Belmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Esteve Pasqual had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cucullú supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cucullú would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
