Spectators: 7193 (Terracing: 5429, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 100) Cucullú's Esteve Pasqual started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Anacleto Lauaxeta was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roman Eliazar. Braulio Oinaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Modesto Eufrasio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braulio Oinaz ran back to his position shaking his head. Braulio Oinaz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Encrucijadas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Pasqual came free, but Anacleto Lauaxeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anacleto Lauaxeta was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roman Eliazar. Modesto Eufrasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Oinaz in the 25th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Cucullú got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Raymon. 31 minutes into the match, Cucullú's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Ritchie came free, but Modesto Eufrasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Braulio Oinaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Modesto Eufrasio was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Modesto Eufrasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Oinaz in the 43rd minute of play. When Sebastian Bras came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Encrucijadas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Bras couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute of the match Emilio Boni sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Modesto Eufrasio skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Braulio Oinaz made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Emilio Boni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Encrucijadas AFC and the Cucullú players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isidoro Goizeder took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anacleto Lauaxeta. Encrucijadas AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 60 played minutes Encrucijadas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Egun. 64 minutes into the match, Cucullú's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Oinaz came free, but Modesto Eufrasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florentino Egun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eleuterio Jenaro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cucullú protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eleuterio Jenaro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cucullú! Braulio Oinaz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 92ndth minute tested the skills of Modesto Eufrasio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ruperto Raymon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ruperto Raymon in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anacleto Lauaxeta saved Encrucijadas AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Braulio Oinaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Encrucijadas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Oinaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Eufrasio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
