After some careless play in the Tortugas FC defense, Virgilio Herena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Jacindo. The Tortugas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Jacindo should have stopped the shot. Everardo Tano kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Tortugas FC's Jesus Telmo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 16 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Iyan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silvestre Mincho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vinicio Jacindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Silvestre Mincho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Jacindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lino Ioritz was the one to do the kick off. Virgilio Herena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Arequito FC's zone, Alvaro Sarracino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Belmiro came out of the goal and Alvaro Sarracino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the match, Tortugas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Herena came free, but Vinicio Jacindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Jacindo had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Virgilio Herena from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Arequito FC's goalkeeper Emanuel Belmiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 65 minutes of play, Tortugas FC's Alvaro Sarracino made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Belmiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emanuel Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Sarracino in the 68th minute of the match. Virgilio Herena succeeded in the game's 74th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. If Silvestre Mincho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Alvaro Sarracino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuel Belmiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Ioritz's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Silvestre Mincho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Jacindo having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Virgilio Herena took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Vinicio Jacindo to make any attempt to save it. Virgilio Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Vinicio Jacindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Arequito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Ioritz came free, but Emanuel Belmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arequito FC played a much better game than Tortugas FC and deserved their victory. The Tortugas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
