With an all-out effort, Fedegar8's Fulgencio Mambru threw himself towards the right post 8 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfredo Cordeal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hipolito Felo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. Hipolito Felo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Isias in the 13th minute of play forced Fedegar8's goalkeeper Leon Iturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Cordeal struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Fulgencio Mambru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fedegar8. Leon Iturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Urritz in the 25th minute of the match. Fulgencio Mambru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Cordeal, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Victorino Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fedegar8's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Nayely was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Leopoldo Bemabe in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fedegar8's Leonardo Florian. 41 minutes into the game, Alfredo Cordeal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fulgencio Mambru. Alfredo Cordeal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. If Alfredo Cordeal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justino Osasun to make the kick off. Alfredo Cordeal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Mambru having to interfere. When Guido Urritz came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Tipas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Urritz couldn't finish the play. Fedegar8's Leonardo Florian quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leopoldo Bemabe, made in the 57th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Cordeal in the 67th minute of play forced Tipas's goalkeeper Fulgencio Mambru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Fedegar8 booed when Tipas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tipas's Fulgencio Mambru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Nayely in the 71st minute of play. Rafael Kimetz might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Mambru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Kimetz ran back to his position shaking his head.
