In the 46th minute, Esteve Pasqual got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteve Pasqual to make the kick off. Mariano Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 83rd minute, Hugo Tulio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Modesto Eufrasio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 92nd minute Ruperto Raymon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Raymon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Prudencio Prejun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Justo Pancho had to leave the field with a concussion. In the 97th minute, Conrado Aztore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fassi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
