Rodolfo Salbatore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Ubendu's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Placido Estavan kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Humberto Ubendu in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Salbatore saved Margarita from getting behind. Rodolfo Salbatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Ubendu went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After the first half Suriyaco were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Moise was the one to do the kick off. Astor Bermund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Urritz in the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes Suriyaco got a freekick which was hit by Benito Teofilio. Carmelo Moise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Bermund having to interfere. After 62 played minutes Suriyaco got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Ubendu. Nicolas Urritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmelo Moise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Astor Bermund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Salbatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Ubendu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Ubendu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodolfo Salbatore came out and tried to block the shot, but Humberto Ubendu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 76th minute. A collision led to Suriyaco getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Amador Laffitte hit a great ball. In the 84th minute, Benito Teofilio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodolfo Salbatore. The goal made the score 0-3. Victorio Jerrald took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Astor Bermund. Suriyaco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
