Eliseo Astudillo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Rodolfo Salbatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falckner. Falckner's Turo Brilhante got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the game, Falckner's Tomás Quirce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Salbatore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Rodolfo Salbatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Quirce went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Falckner booed when Margarita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Urritz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Salbatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo Salbatore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dênis Leme in the 32nd minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomás Quirce to make the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Tomás Quirce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Margarita's Rodolfo Salbatore was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severo Matei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomás Quirce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rodolfo Salbatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Falckner's Dênis Leme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodolfo Salbatore. That made the score 1-5 after 71 minutes of play. Ulysses de Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Salbatore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Rodolfo Salbatore was a little too slow when Tomás Quirce got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-7. After a defensive mix-up in Margarita's zone, Tobias Iigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Salbatore came out of the goal and Tobias Iigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Tomás Quirce reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodolfo Salbatore. The goal made the score 1-8. After 89 played minutes Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Txordon. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Tomás Quirce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falckner's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Quirce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Salbatore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute Placido Estavan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severo Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute Ulysses de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Salbatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Margarita fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Falckner were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
