Infierno Rojo's Flavio Mederi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Toro in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Infierno Rojo defense, Mateo Sasoin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Mederi. The Infierno Rojo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Mederi should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the game, Infierno Rojo's Hugo Paz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sven-Olof Strömberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateo Sasoin to strike the kick off in the second half. PlotterPro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaspar Artaldo in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Infierno Rojo's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Sasoin came free, but Flavio Mederi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute Mateo Sasoin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Mederi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Mateo Sasoin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PlotterPro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to Infierno Rojo getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Fermin Oihenarte hit a great ball. In the 78th minute of the match Gaspar Artaldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Mederi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, PlotterPro's Mateo Sasoin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Mederi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Hugo Paz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Olof Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Abreu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. PlotterPro's Mateo Sasoin got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Genaro Franco hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
