Ubaldo Rencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Los Chanos Chocadores got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Policarpio. Valentin Bittors short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Ubaldo Rencio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 31st minute of the match Dinastia Crew Hip-Hop got a corner. Los Chanos Chocadores's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gilberto Cordarrol ran over to the corner to take the kick. Dinastia Crew Hip-Hop's Pastor Fe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ubaldo Rencio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 37th minute Severino Martxelin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Dinastia Crew Hip-Hop's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Policarpio came free, but Erubiel Daunte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erubiel Daunte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Martxelin in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Dinastia Crew Hip-Hop booed when Los Chanos Chocadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Cucao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Cordarrol took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ubaldo Rencio. Los Chanos Chocadores's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jacinto Policarpio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Erubiel Daunte when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 60th minute, Eloy Figueroa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ubaldo Rencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Severino Martxelin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erubiel Daunte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Erubiel Daunte successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Guaberto Asteri fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Chanos Chocadores's protests and gave Guaberto Asteri a yellow card for diving instead.
