Adrian Inko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Indar in the 20th minute of the match. Felipe Fernandes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Bordat in the 22nd minute. With his leg Felipe Fernandes managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Albigasta's Amadeo Bernal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 31 minutes into the match, Albigasta's Virgilio Bartoli broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Bernal in the 35th minute of play forced newells04's goalkeeper Felipe Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teo Indar hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Albigasta's zone, Bernardo Bitxintxo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Inko came out of the goal and Bernardo Bitxintxo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half newells04 were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Felipe Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Blasi in the 52nd minute of play. Adrian Inko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Indar in the 54th minute of play. Amadeo Bernal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to newells04 getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Marco Constancio hit a great ball. Amadeo Bernal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Felipe Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Amadeo Bernal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Albigasta's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Bernal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felipe Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Bernal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th play minute Primitivo Elixio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adrian Inko. 0-2. In the 87th minute, Amadeo Bernal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Amadeo Bernal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felipe Fernandes. newells04's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeo Bernal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Primitivo Elixio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Adrian Inko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
