With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliciano Beturian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ubaldo Fero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Fabio Chepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braulio Camerino in the 27th minute of play forced Vikings's goalkeeper Feliciano Beturian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Vikings's Carlos Guter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilberto Sadurni narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
