Teofilo Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Primitivo Sindo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Rios was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. A wasted opportunity for Mapuche Futbol Club. 90 minutes into the match, Mapuche Futbol Club's goalkeeper Teofilo Cordeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgard Mantzio. When Godofredo Beltran came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Asado al parquet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godofredo Beltran couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Asado al parquet's zone, Cristobal Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Rios came out of the goal and Cristobal Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Asado al parquet players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
