Omar Iraunkor came out of the goal and Lorenzo Stephen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omar Iraunkor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Ekialde, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Stephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Omar Iraunkor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Igor Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Uturango FC's Igor Ekialde in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, ACERTIJO MJL's Celso Galeno got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Bruno Harri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Galeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Igor Ekialde scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omar Iraunkor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Ekialde in the 45th minute of play forced ACERTIJO MJL's goalkeeper Omar Iraunkor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uturango FC's Lorenzo Stephen got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Harri to make the kick off. The supporters of ACERTIJO MJL booed when Uturango FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Domenec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Stephen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Omar Iraunkor having to make a save. After having played for 59 minutes, Lorenzo Stephen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uturango FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lorenzo Stephen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, ACERTIJO MJL's Placido Aguirre got a free kick in the 60th minute. Omar Iraunkor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lorenzo Stephen in the 62nd minute. After 66 played minutes ACERTIJO MJL got a freekick which was hit by Placido Aguirre. Godfredo Sotero hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute Igor Ekialde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Iraunkor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Uturango FC's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Aguirre came free, but Astor Martxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Igor Ekialde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Iraunkor was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Lorenzo Stephens short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Omar Iraunkor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Uturango FC defense, Bruno Harri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Martxot. The Uturango FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Martxot should have stopped the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
