When Carlos Caton came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the el viejo fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Caton couldn't finish the play. Adan Mendez came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by el viejo fc's Carlos Caton. But to his dismay, Carlos Caton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Marcial Abar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Ponciano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. el viejo fc were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Ayapaso's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benedicto Clodio took the corner. The corner led el viejo fc's Rodolfo Benet to fire away a dangerous shot which Adan Mendez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. el viejo fc's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
