Casimiro Nahia kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 6th minute of the match Hernan Peio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dario Savion showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Angelo Tohias managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.R.P's supporters rose to their feet, but Angelo Tohias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Savion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of C.A.R.P booed when C.A.BOCA JRS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Fertus didn't get a good kick on the ball. C.A.R.P's Leon Etor couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for C.A.BOCA JRS. In the 21st play minute Anibal Fertus came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emanuel Eguntsenti. 1-0. Anibal Fertus hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Tadeo Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 29 played minutes C.A.R.P got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Baumar. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.R.P's zone, Delmiro Diagur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Eguntsenti came out of the goal and Delmiro Diagur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmiro Diagur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anibal Fertus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Emanuel Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, C.A.R.P's Hernan Peio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dario Savion made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmiro Diagur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hernan Peio hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. C.A.BOCA JRS's Delmiro Diagur got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When C.A.BOCA JRS's Tadeo Enekoitz in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A.R.P's goalie prevented a goal. Benigno Frisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dario Savion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, C.A.BOCA JRS's Dario Savion got control of the ball when Angelo Tohias tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Angelo Tohias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Savion was a little too slow when Benigno Frisco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-2. A collision led to C.A.R.P getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hernan Peio hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Delmiro Diagur notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of C.A.R.P's Emanuel Eguntsenti. Emanuel Eguntsenti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
