Clodoveo Unai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaudencio Rafel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Oxarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angastaco's Gaudencio Rafel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Enol in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Clodoveo Unai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Oliverio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Alfredo Enol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacupampa's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Enol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Rafel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clodoveo Unai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Oliverio having to interfere.

If Amado Shepherd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tacupampa's zone, Gaston Mundo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Oliverio came out of the goal and Gaston Mundo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Unai in the 63rd minute of play forced Tacupampa's goalkeeper Patricio Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Oliverio having to interfere. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Clodoveo Unai sped through Tacupampa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patricio Oliverio. Patricio Oliverio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Mundo in the 79th minute of the match. Patricio Oliverio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Unai, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 83rd minute, Clodoveo Unai left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Angastaco fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Tacupampa's Patricio Oliverio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Bilintx in the 87th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Clodoveo Unai in the 88th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Clodoveo Unai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Angastaco were the better team. Angastaco's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
