In the 6th match minute, Ragamuffin Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Rocio to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Paternal AFC's Ceferino Honrio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Salvador Rufo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Uriel Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 minutes, Gogo Ederono mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ragamuffin Jrs and the Paternal AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Ragamuffin Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Ederono to maneuver through the defense. Salvador Rufo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Chesus, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Benvido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paternal AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ragamuffin Jrs the free kick. Ulises Muc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Rufo having to interfere. Gogo Ederono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Uriel Santana got free with Nicanor Gagriel in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ragamuffin Jrs's Salvador Rufo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Honrio in the 44th minute of play. Baldomiro Nerio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Salvador Rufo. Ragamuffin Jrs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Salvador Rufo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Muc in the 48th minute of play. The Ragamuffin Jrs players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paternal AFC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gogo Ederono to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Paternal AFC got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Chesus. Uriel Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nicanor Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Uriel Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Gogo Ederono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gogo Ederono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Nicanor Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvador Rufo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Honrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes Ragamuffin Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Vermudo. Salvador Rufo came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Paternal AFC's Ceferino Honrio. But to his dismay, Ceferino Honrio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ceferino Honrio charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceferino Honrio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ragamuffin Jrs booed when Paternal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Honrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gogo Ederono sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 92 minutes, Baldomiro Benvido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paternal AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomiro Benvido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Paternal AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
